We got to take the map on another road trip! Cal State East Bay invited us to bring the map to the Contra Costa Discovery Day, part of the Bay Area Science Festival, at their Concord campus on October 27th, 2018. This was our second opportunity to use the outdoor foam mat to display the map, since the Concord campus does not have a gym and the only open space large enough was in their parking lot. Thanks to lots of volunteers we were able to set up the entire foam mat in only 1.5 hours (check out the time-lapse images at the end of the gallery), just in time to roll out the map and welcome our first visitors. This was also our largest event so far... our best estimate was that we had a total of 450-500 visitors over the course of the event!
