For the second year in a row, we displayed the map at the ASU Tempe Campus' Open Door event on February 23rd, 2019. But this time, we decided to display the map outside ISTB4 so that it would be closer to the School of Earth and Space Exploration's other exhibits. Thanks to Meg Hufford and numerous undergraduate Open Door volunteers, we were able to set up the foam mat in a record 45min and take it down in only 20min! We had tons of visitors, especially families with young kids, who really enjoyed the Mars Geography Scavenger Hunt. Although it got a little chilly once the sun set behind ISTB4, our volunteers were awesome and kept the map open to visitors as long as we could. Looking forward to returning for ASU Open Door 2020!
